About CampSafe
CampSafe® is an online training program developed by beKidSafe, powered by the Center for Child Counseling, aimed at preventing child sexual abuse in camp settings. Designed for camp leadership and staff, the curriculum focuses on building awareness and providing essential skills to maintain a safe environment for campers. The training includes modules on screening and interview protocols, establishing camper advocate teams, and implementing child protection policies. Tailored for young staff members, CampSafe® offers interactive, 3D-animated scenarios to enhance learning and engagement. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate valid for one year, signifying their commitment to camper safety. By integrating CampSafe® into their programs, camps demonstrate a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse and foster a culture of safety and compassion.
